Mercedes-Benz Inaugurates AMG Performance Centres In Kochi And Chennai
Mercedes has expanded its AMG Performance Centre footprint in India by opening two new outlets in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has inaugurated two AMG Performance Centres - one in Kochi, Kerala, and the other one in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. With the two new AMG Performance Centres, the German carmaker now has a total of 7 AMG Performance Centres in India.
Commenting on the occasion, Roland Folger, the Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India said, "AMG is redefining the performance motoring segment, and we are delighted to see its growing acceptance in India."
"The inauguration of the AMG Performance Centers in Kochi and Chennai reaffirms our endeavour to provide AMG customers with an immersive AMG brand experience. We believe that India has immense potential for performance cars and we have accordingly weaved our AMG strategy, which comprises new product introductions from the global portfolio coupled with the increase in our retail footprint."

The new outlets will help Mercedes cater to more customers, giving them an opportunity to own performance cars and customise cars as per their requirements.

Inaugurating two new AMG Performance Centres comes at a time when Mercedes-Benz launched two performance cars in India, the Mercedes-AMG GT R and the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster. Expanding the dealership presence also helps the carmaker sell more products.
