Mercedes-Benz GLS Grand Edition Revealed — The S-Class Of SUVs Gets Even More Plusher
Mercedes has revealed the GLS Grand Edition SUV. The Grand Edition is a more exclusive and stylish version of the GLS.
Mercedes has revealed the GLS Grand Edition, a brand new trim level for its flagship SUV. The Grand Edition trim level adds to the luxury quotient of the GLS thanks to a few changes to both the exterior and interior.
The GLS Grand Edition will start arriving in showrooms in Europe in February 2018 and the models benefiting from the luxury refresh include the 350 d, 400 and 500. However, all three variants of the GLS remain unchanged mechanically.
The exterior of the GLS gets a few updates in Grand Edition trim with the standard wheels making way for 20-inch, 10-spoke light-alloy wheels, painted black with a high-sheen finish.
The Grand Edition badges next to the front wheel arches also help distinguish this special edition of the GLS from its less fortunate siblings. The exterior package will set customers back an additional €2300 (Rs 1.71 lakhs).
The interior features a two-tone porcelain/espresso brown colour combination which will exclusively be found on Grand Edition models. The dashboard is draped in dark brown leather and there are espresso brown velour floor mats and new ambient lighting.
The cream leather seats feature diamond quilting as well as Budapest-design piping. The interior Grand Edition package costs an extra €5,900 (Rs 4.53 lakh).
