Mercedes-AMG G63 ‘Edition 463’ And GLS 63 Launched In India — What’s Your Pick?
Mercedes has launched the AMG G63 Edition 463 and the GLS 63 in India, taking the SUV portfolio to 8 vehicles.
German carmaker Mercedes has launched the Mercedes-AMG G63 'Edition 463' and the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 in India. The Mercedes-AMG G63 'Edition 463' is priced at Rs 2.17 crore and the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 is priced at Rs 1.58 crore ex-showroom (Pune).
With the launch of the two new performance SUVs, Mercedes-Benz now offers a variety of SUVs with the AMG moniker to chose from. The Mercedes-AMG G63 'Edition 463' and the GLS 63 have taken Mercedes-Benz India's SUV lineup to eight vehicles.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 is powered by a 5.5-litre supercharged V8 engine that produces 572bhp and 760Nm of torque, mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC gearbox. This allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 5.4 seconds, and reach an electronically restricted top speed of 210km/h.

The Mercedes-AMG GLS 63, on the other hand, comes with a 5.5-litre Biturbo V8 that makes 585bhp and 760Nm of peak torque, paired to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC gearbox. The vehicle comes with a permanent AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM roll stabilisation.

Both vehicles, the Mercedes-AMG G63 and the GLS 63 come equipped with all the luxury goodies Mercedes has to offer, along with the performance option AMG has to deliver.
