Maruti Suzuki Opens Its 200th Nexa Showroom
Maruti Suzuki is also planning to expand the number Nexa outlets to 250 by end of FY 2016-17.
India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has opened its 200th premium automotive outlet, Nexa at Hyderabad. Company's premium outlet is one of the fastest growing auto retail networks in India.

Since Nexa's inception in the country in July 2015, the carmaker sold over 1,85,000 vehicle through this premium outlet and is now present in 121 cities. The new dealership at Hyderabad will sell premium cars from the carmaker such as the S-Cross, Ignis and the Baleno.

Maruti Suzuki is also planning to expand the number Nexa outlets to 250 by end of FY 2016-17. And by 2020, the main aim is to open 400 Nexa outlets. It also targets to sell 2,00,000 units of cars by March this year.

R S Kalsi, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, "Since its launch, NEXA has received an overwhelming response from customers and has done extremely well in its objective of changing the way cars are sold in India.

"Through NEXA, we offer a unique car buying experience, built on pampering, innovation and technology. With all these initiatives, we are able to attract new categories of customers who were earlier not considering us. We have taken the challenge to create newer segments to fulfil the wishes of our customers."

Soon, the Nexa outlet will get a fourth model, the Baleno RS. The sporty and powerful version of the Baleno hatch is expected to be launched in the country in February. Powering the new model will be a 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine, which is the first turbo-petrol motor by Maruti Suzuki.
