2017 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Bookings Officially Open Ahead Of Launch

Select dealers were accepting bookings for the new compact sedan, but now, Maruti has officially opened bookings. One can book the car for Rs 11,000. Customers can also choose to do so online.

The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is 100kg lighter than the model it replaces. There are also design tweaks such as a new front bumper, grille, headlight console, tail lamp cluster, and a chrome strip running across the boot.

The interior too has been upgraded and the new 2017 Dzire comes with dual tone finish, redesigned instrument cluster, chrome accents on the gear knob, steering wheel, and the instrument panel.

The new facelifted Dzire also gets an infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, including a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

Regarding mechanicals, Maruti Suzuki will offer the same, tried and tested 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.3-litre diesel engine. Both engines will come with a standard 5-speed manual gearbox, with an optional AGS feature.
