Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm 15th Edition: Rally To Commence From Delhi
The Rally dubbed as the "Mini Dakar Rally" will be categorized into four.
Maruti Suzuki is set to kick off the 15th edition of the Desert Storm rally. The latest edition of the rally will set off from New Delhi on January 29, and will come to an end at Jodhpur on February 4th.
The contestants of the rally will be categorised into four groups; Xtreme, NDure, Xplore, and Moto. The total number of entries for the 15th edition of the Desert Storm have crossed over 200 as veteran competitors get set to show off all their skills in a bid to be the best and conquer the sand dunes of Rajasthan.
The rallyists will have to tackle some of the toughest challenges in different terrains before testing their endurance in the Thar Desert in Rajasthan.
Once the rally is flagged off from New Delhi, the Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm will transit through Hanumangarh, Bikaner, and Jaisalmer, before finally coming to a halt at Jodhpur on February 4.
Similar to the last two editions of the Desert Storm, a special night stage will be organised at Jaisalmer which will see the rally vehicles clock more than 150 kilometres as they blast through the cold nights.
