The Maruti Suzuki Alto has recorded a sales figures of 1.07 lakh units in the first five months of 2017. The first time car buyers have shown a lot of trust with the Alto brand.
Maruti Suzuki launched the Alto in the Indian market in 2001. And in the past 17 years, the car has received several upgrades to keep up with the competition. In the first three years since its launch, it clocked cumulative sales of 1 lakh units.
Currently, Maruti Suzuki offers two variants of the Alto - the K10 and CNG. Both the variants draw power from an 800cc engine. The Alto K10 is available with Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission.
