Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Plus Edition Launched In India
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Plus Edition receives a total of ten additional features on the outside as well as inside; mechanically the small hatchback remains the same.
India's largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), has launched a limited edition model of the country's best-selling car Alto with the moniker Alto K10 Plus. The Alto K10 Plus is priced at Rs 3.40 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The Alto K10 Plus is available only in the top VXi variant and comes with enrichment to the exteriors and interiors. On the outside, the Alto K10 Plus features chrome garnish on the fog lamp housing, door moulding, chrome beltline, chrome wheel arches, parking sensors, rear spoiler, body coloured door handles and outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs).
As for the interiors, the Alto K10 Plus comes with front power windows, central locking and a piano finished audio console.
There are no changes on the mechanical front on the small hatchback. The Alto K10 Plus continues to draw its power from the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, petrol engine producing 67bhp and 90Nm of torque.
The motor is paired to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT) or AGS as Maruti refers to the technology.
With Renault Kwid turning the heat in the entry-level car segment, the launch of the Alto K10 Plus edition, Maruti Suzuki is looking to address the visual aspect of its best-selling model in the country.
