Maruti Suzuki Stingray Spied With Wagon R Badging; Might Be Launched As The 2017 Wagon R
Maruti Suzuki Stingray has been spied with the Wagon R badging. There is a possibility of launching the Stingray as the 2017 Wagon R in the Indian market.
Maruti Suzuki has just launched the Ignis in the Indian market. But there is more in the store from the Indian car manufacturer.

Maruti Suzuki may be focusing on the premium models in the Indian market, but the company is also committed towards its volume models. The manufacturer is all geared up for the launch of 2017 Wagon R.

Now, Autos Arena has spotted the Stingray badged as Wagon R. According to the sources, Maruti Suzuki will discontinue the currently sold Wagon R and will re-name the Stingray as the new Wagon R.

There is also an addition of new trim called as VXI+ which will be the top of the line model. There is also a possibility of discontinuing the Stingray and introducing the new model as the Wagon R VXI+.

On the exterior, the 2017 Wagon R will be identical to the Stingray. Whereas the interior of the new model gets updated with Beige & Black dual-tone color.

The 2017 Wagon R will be powered by the existing 1-litre K-Series engine. The car will be offered in the CNG variant with the factory fitted CNG Kit.

The Wagon R is one of the successful models for Maruti Suzuki in the Indian market. The model will get a complete makeover in 2018. Expect a slight increase in price for the 2017 Wagon R.
