Maruti S-Cross Facelift Set To Launch Around Diwali
Maruti is set to bring the facelifted S-Cross SUV to India during the festive season.
Suzuki revealed the facelifted S-Cross SUV at the Paris Motor Show last year, a few weeks after the SUV broke cover in Hungary.
Maruti is looking to introduce the facelifted S-Cross in India as it looks to replace the sales dud that is the current version of the SUV.
Speaking to Autocar India at the launch of the new Dzire, C.V. Raman, executive director - research and development, Maruti Suzuki India, confirmed that the new refreshed S-Cross will be launched in India around Diwali.
The new S-Cross will bring with it a host of cosmetic changes including the revised front end with the new chrome grille featuring vertical slats flanked by a set of revised projector lights and LED DRLs. Also new is the front bumper which features a new air dam to improve air flow.
Inside, the new S-Cross will pack a new touchscreen infotainment system which will sport Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. an updated instrument cluster along with a new MID unit, new trim options for the dashboard and upholstery with contrast stitching.
Mechanically, the new S-Cross is expected to remain unchanged with the crossover set to retain its 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines. The S-Cross will continue to be sold by Maruti through its premium Nexa dealerships across the country.
