Maruti Suzuki Dzire Commands Waiting Period Of 3 Months — Here's Why You Should Wait
Maruti Dzire Is The Fastest Selling Car In India.
In 2008 India's largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki launched little-known body style called subcompact sedan with a moniker Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire. The Dzire was developed as an extension of the popular Swift hatchback.
The Indo-Japanese carmaker introduced the Dzire as a sedan-like car in a smaller dimension. Immediately, the Indian buyers were in awe of the Dzire, and the sedan has gone on to become one of the best-selling vehicles for Maruti.

Now, the newly launched fourth-generation Maruti Dzire has set another record as India's fastest-selling car. Maruti has sold more than 1 lakh units of the new Dzire in just over five months since it's launch.
So why is the Maruti Dzire favourite among the buyers despite commanding a waiting period of nearly three months? Let us find out what makes the Dzire a sought after car in India.

Mileage
For Indian buyers, a car should return an excellent mileage for the hard earned money invested in it. The new Maruti Dzire continues to be powered by the same engines as the previous models; however, the new Dzire is underpinned by all-new chassis, which is lighter as it has shed 105kg depending on the variant.

This is best-in-class fuel efficiency figures for the subcompact Dzire in the industry. Also, the claimed mileage of the new Dzire is for both the manual and the AMT gearbox models.

Brand Value
Maruti Suzuki has the highest brand value in India, and the company has sold close to 14 lakh units of the previous generation Dzires creating a considerable brand value among buyers in India.
The company has injected the much-needed makeover of the Dzire despite the car not losing any brand value in the country. This change has only added more young buyers of the all-new Dzire, and along the company's brand value, the Maruti Dzire is indeed one of the most preferred cars in the country.

Design
The old Maruti Dzire looked more of an afterthought than an original concept model from the carmaker. However, with the fourth-generation Dzire, Maruti has balanced the design and the practicality of the sedan.
The new Dzire looks premium on the outside as well as on the inside. The car looks more like a full-sized sedan compared to the previous models.

On the inside, the new Dzire receives wooden inserts on the dashboard, steering wheel, and the door panels offering a premium touch to the vehicle. Maruti has even featured the LED headlamps along with DRLs that makes the Dzire a lot more premium in its looks.

Engine & Specifications
Maruti Suzuki was the first carmaker to make the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) famous in India. The Dzire too benefitted from the AMT in the diesel model. With the all-new Dzire, Maruti is offering both the manual and the AMT gearbox in diesel as well as in petrol variant making it a robust car in the market.
With a wide range of options on the new Maruti Dzire, the subcompact sedan is positioned with premium features, two different gearboxes to choose.
