This Maruti Baleno Sent For Service, Gets Only A Car Wash
A customer had sent his Maruti Baleno for service, but it only gets a car wash.
We often hear about the poor service offered by some of the reputed brands. Now, here is one such incident which was busted by a customer through a dash cam installed in the car.
A TeamBHP member had sent his Maruti Baleno RS for second free service at Mandovi Motors in Bangalore. The car had no issues, except for the petrol smell during cold start.
Everything was usual; the Baleno was serviced and delivered to the customer. Now comes the twist in the tale, the folks at the service centre were unaware of the camera installed in the car which was recording the entire process.
After the car was delivered, the customer was shocked after checking the recorded footage. The service centre did nothing to the car but just gave it a car wash in the name of service. The customer uploaded the footage on YouTube.

Here is how the entire incident unfolded, in the video, we can see the customer handing over the car to the service advisor and also mentions about the petrol smell issue. After that, the Baleno is taken inside the service centre.
But now an interesting thing happens, when the service advisor is reversing the car to the bay, we can hear a person shouting ‘washing washing'. The service advisor says that the customer is still in the service centre and let him leave.
After the customer leaves, the car was directly taken to the washing area. And all this happened in front of the service manager. When the car is in waiting line in the washing area, a person inside the car uses the AC during the entire washing process.
After all this, they notice that there is a camera installed in the car, but are not sure whether it is recording or not. Then the bonnet is opened to clean the engine bay. The worst part is the mechanics use the car to have lunch and time pass. That's when the service advisor says them to get out of the car as the camera is recording.
After washing, the car is sent to the delivery area and the final clean is done. After finishing the formalities, the driver is told to deliver the car to the customer. So, in the video, you can see that the Baleno never went inside the service bay. But the service advisor ticked all the boxes in the manual, stating that all the necessary checks have been done.

It is shocking to see that the Baleno which was given for service was not even checked for oil level and fluids. It is not at all acceptable the way the service centre treated the car. A car owner trusts the service centre when leaving the vehicle and in the end, this is what he gets. So, this is why the owner of the vehicle should be present at the service centre when the vehicle is being serviced.
