Man Trucks Opens New Dealership In Chennai

Man Trucks India has opened its 64th dealership in Chennai. The new dealership has been set up by its new partner Vijai Earthmoving Equipment; this is the fourth dealership inaugurated since January 2017 besides Solapur, Pune and Vijayawada.

The company's strategy is to expand the network to increase sales opportunities and at the same provide service support to all customers.

In pursuit of the above strategy, Man Trucks launched the new CLA EVO range in December 2016, comprising tippers, long haul and special application trucks ranging from 16T to 49T. Also, in May 2017 the company crossed the milestone of producing over 25,000 vehicles from its Pithampur plant.

The new Chennai Man Trucks dealership is the 24th location in the southern region. The dealership is spread over 13,000 square feet and will provide sales and after-sales support to all customers. The facility is located close to the Chennai-Bengaluru highway.

The facility consists of three service bays and a lounge where customers/drivers can wait while their vehicles are being serviced.

With qualified technicians, they can address the needs of the clients and assure maximum vehicle uptime. The facility is outfitted with high precision tools and advanced diagnostic systems. Also, the dealership will offer 24×7 roadside assistance and on-site service support.

Speaking on the occasion, Joerg Mommertz, Chairman &Managing Director, Man Trucks India, said that their India approach has shaped up well over the years, notwithstanding challenging market conditions.

He added that they have increased the speed of answering to market demands, and this new dealership is part of their efforts. The South region is an important market, and with this new dealership, they will be able to increase their reach. He is pleased to welcome onboard Vijai Earthmoving Equipment as their partner and is confident that they will present the Man brand experience to all customers.
