Mahindra has launched a limited edition model of the XUV500 called the Sportz variant in India. Based on the W10 trim, the XUV500 Sportz is priced at Rs 16.5 lakh for the manual variant, and Rs 17.56 lakh (both ex-showroom Mumbai) for the automatic gearbox variant.
The Mahindra XUV500 Sportz features cosmetic updates such as sporty decals, darker alloy wheels with red brake callipers, orange roof rails, door handles, and fog lamp inserts; and a ‘Sportz' badge on the exterior and interior.
On the features front, the XUV500 Sportz carries forward creature comforts such as the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, navigation, reverse camera, cruise control, climate control, tyre pressure monitoring system, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic headlights from the W10 trim.
On the engine front, the XUV500 Sportz is powered by the standard 2.2-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that makes 140bhp and 330Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to a standard all-wheel-drive system.
The XUV500 is a good looking vehicle, loaded with features seen on vehicles that are more expensive than the XUV. Below are detailed images of the XUV500.
