Mahindra Scorpio facelift is in the works by the SUV manufacturer. Test mules of the facelifted Scorpio were spotted recently in the state of Karnataka.
Mahindra had first facelifted the popular Scorpio in 2014, and the company is looking to facelift the Scorpio for the second time.

As per the spy images from Autocar India, the test mules of the facelifted Mahindra Scorpio was partially camouflaged, with the front and rear profile hiding the new changes.

Not much can be noticed from the test mules of the facelifted Scorpio apart from the fact that the new model will receive updates to its front fascia and few changes to the rear.

Apart from the front and rear profile facelifts, the new Scorpio remains unchanged in dimensions. The new updates are to keep up with the current trend and technology.

The Mahindra Scorpio facelift will also receive changes to its power output as well. The 2.2-litre mHawk motor is expected to churn out 138bhp (up by 20bhp) in the facelifted Scorpio. The torque is expected to be increased as well.

The motor will be paired to the same 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox. There are reports that along with the Scorpio facelift, the XUV 500 is likely to receive a facelift as well.
