Mahindra & Mahindra Launches 7 New Vehicles Under Supro Brand
Indian auto major Mahindra & Mahindra has launched seven new vehicles under its Supro brand with three models in the cargo segment and four models in the passenger van segment.
Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra has launched seven new vehicles - three models in the load carrier segment and four models in the passenger van segment, under its Supro brand.
The newly launched Mahindra Minivan is priced at Rs 4.71 lakh ex-showroom (Kolkata) and the Supro Maxitruck is priced at Rs 4.28 lakh (Kolkata). Both the models are powered by 909cc diesel engine.
Both the vehicles are priced competitively in the market and are compliant with the new BS-IV emission norms. The Minivan if offered in three variants - VX, CNG and School Van.
The Supro platform is manufactured at Mahindra's Chakan plant in Maharashtra. The Supro platform has undergone rigorous testing and has been validated on all performance, safety and reliability parameters.
A statement released by Mahindra read, "The company launched four new variants of its stylish and spacious passenger carrier, namely Supro minivan, Supro minivan VX, Supro minivan CNG and Supro school van and three new variants of its modern load carrier, Supro Minitruck, Supro Minitruck CNG and Supro Cargo Van."
President and Chief Executive (Automotive), M&M, Pravin Shah said, "With the launch of the Supro Minitruck and Minivan, we will further strengthen our portfolio under the 'Supro' brand umbrella. I am sure that the Supro platform will go a long way in helping our customers prosper in life, in line with Mahindra Rise philosophy."
The newly launched vehicles come with a warranty of two years or 60,000km, whichever occurs first. Mahindra launched the Supro Maxitruck in October 2015 and later in October 2016, the two electric variants were launched - the eSupro van and eCargo van.
