Lexus RC F Now Available In India

The company also launched its flagship SUV, the LX450. Now CarandBike reports that the Lexus RC F will be offered in the Indian market. The sports car will be available on an order-to-order basis.

The Lexus RC F will be available in India with a price tag of over Rs 2 crore ex-showroom without any customisation done to the car. With the addition of RC F, Lexus' Indian product portfolio has gone up to four models.

The RC F gets signature Lexus design cues but with a sportier touch. The typical front grille seen on the LX, RX and ES is replaced by a sporty F-Sport grille identical to the RX F sports variant.

The front fascia of the RC F features LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights in a split cluster. The car is shod with 20-inch wheels. The overall design of the car combines the coupe-like bodyline and GT proportions very well.

The Lexus RC F draws power from a 5-litre V8 engine churning out 467bhp and 527Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The car also features F-adaptive suspension with 30 levels of damping mode.

The RC F is equipped with 15-inch Brembo disc brakes with 6-piston race callipers to make sure the car stops where you want it. The car also gets different driving modes to suit the driving condition.

The RC F can sprint from 1-100km/h in just 4.3 seconds before topping out at 270km/h. The figures are slower than its rivals such as Porsche Carrera S, Maserati GranTourismo and Jaguar F-Type.
