Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder Launch Date Revealed — Is India Ready For Some Drop-Top Drifting?
The launch date for the Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder in India has been confirmed. IS India becoming a big draw for the raging bull.
Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini is all set to launch the Huracan RWD Spyder in India and has confirmed the date when its topless rear-wheel drive supercar hits the streets of the Indian sub-continent.
The Indian launch of the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is set for Wednesday, February 1, 2017, comes just two and a half months after the new drop top Huracan was revealed to the world at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show and a month after the car went on sale in Europe.
Powering the Huracan RWD Spyder is Lamborghini's 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that produces 572bhp and 540Nm of torque which is sent only to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The Huracan RWD Spyder will sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.6 seconds and will keep on accelerating till it tops out at 319km/h.
To help differentiate the RWD Spyder from the regular drop-top Huracan, Lamborghini has given the new car a redesigned front bumper with larger air intakes along with a slightly tweaked rear end as well.
Inside, the new Huracan plays host to a 12.3-inch display which is run by Lamborghini's latest infotainment setup. The roof of the drop top takes 17 seconds to open or close and can be operated at speeds of up to 50km/h.
The Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder is expected to be priced lower than its all-wheel-drive sibling which retails for Rs 3.89 crore.
