Spy Pics: Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder Spotted Testing
Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini is set to reveal another model, the Huracan Performante Spyder.
Italian supercar maker Lamborghini is readying another model under its sleeve to rip the race tracks. The company is updating the Huracan Spyder.
The Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder was spotted at the Volkswagen's Nurburgring facility. And now the car was seen testing in Italy with hardly any camouflage.
The drop-top Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder is equipped with the same set of wheels as compared to its fixed-roof sibling. The car also gets the Performante aero package to shatter the lap records.
The soft top of the Lamborghini Huracan Performante can drop in just 17 seconds similar to the Huracan Spyder. The soft top can be operated at speeds up to 50km/h.

The Huracan Performante Spyder draws power from a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine producing 640bhp and 600Nm of torque. The soft top Performante can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 2.9 seconds similar to its hardtop sibling.
The Performante Spyder will be 0.3 seconds quicker than the regular LP610-4 Spyder. The spy shots reveal that only the engine bay area and the spoiler is being camouflaged. So we can assume that the rest of the car remains unchanged except for the soft top.
The Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder is likely to become the fastest convertible car to lap the green hell. The Italian automaker is expected to reveal the new model later this year.
