Lamborghini Aventador S India Launch Date Revealed
The launch date for the Lamborghini Aventador S in India has been revealed. The India launch comes less than three months after the supercar was revealed to the world by Lamborghini.
Lamborghini has confirmed the Indian launch date for the Aventador S. The new Lamborghini Aventador S will launch in India on March 3, 2017.
The Indian launch of the Aventador S comes just over two months after the new flagship Lamborghini debuted on December 19, 2016. The new Aventador S brings with it a sharper design and more power on tap compared to the Aventador currently on sale in India.
Powering the new Lamborghini Aventador S is a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine that revs up to 8,500rpm and produces 730bhp and 690Nm of torque. The power goes to all four wheels through a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
The increase in power means that the Aventador S has a power to weight ratio of 463bhp/tonne allowing it to sprint from 0-100km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The top speed of the new Aventador S is 349km/h.
The new Aventador S features an aggressive shift in design with the new front end complete with larger air intakes and redesigned aero element which add up to 130 percent more downforce at the front end of the car.
At the rear, the adjustable wing has three different settings which again adds to the aero capabilities but also reduces drag, and the diffuser element looks a lot more aggressive as well.
