Kia has revealed the Sorento facelift ahead of its debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
South Korean automaker Kia has revealed the Sorento facelift ahead of its debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Sorento facelift features subtle changes to the exterior and interior design and a new 8-speed transmission.

The exterior of the updated SUV features a new chrome-finished front grille. The new top-of-the-range GT Line trim gets red brake calipers, chrome exhaust tip and fog lamps.

The interior of the new Sorento features 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SUV also gets wireless smartphone charger and black leather seats with grey stitching on the GT-Line variants.

The Sorento facelift draws power from the existing 2.4-litre petrol, 2-litre diesel and 2.2-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 188bhp, the 2-litre diesel motor is good for 185bhp and the 2.2-litre oil burner churns out 200bhp.

The transmission options include a new 8-speed automatic gearbox along with the previously available 6-speed automatic and manual transmissions. Four-wheel-drive is offered as an option.

Kia has revealed the updated Sorento SUV which is also expected to enter the Indian market when the South Korean automaker makes its India debut. The company has already commenced roadshows for dealers in the country.
