Jeep Wrangler Petrol Launched In India With A Powerful V6 Engine
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited petrol launched in India. The engine produces more power, while the vehicle is priced below the diesel variant.
Jeep has launched the petrol version of the Wrangler in India, priced at Rs 56 lakh ex-showroom (India). The Jeep Wrangler petrol is available as a 5-door Unlimited version only.
Powering the petrol variant of the Jeep Wrangler is a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 motor that delivers 285 bhp and 353Nm of peak torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a 5-speed automatic gearbox.
Although the Jeep Wrangler has no direct competition in its class, the pricing puts the vehicle in a segment along with the Mercedes GLC and Land Rover Discovery Sport.
The pricing of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited petrol is well below its diesel sibling (Rs 71.59 lakh), which comes with a 2.8-litre engine that makes 197bhp and 460Nm of torque. Similar to the petrol variant, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited diesel comes with a 5-speed automatic gearbox and a standard all-wheel-drive system too.
