Jaguar F-Pace Wins Prestigious Women’s World Car Of The Year (WWCOTY)

The Jaguar F-Pace has been chosen as the Women’s Car Of The Year award winner by a group of women motoring journalists.

The Jaguar F-Pace has won the prestigious Women's World Car Of The Year (WWCOTY) award, during the WWCOTY award presentation ceremony held at the Jaguar Design Centre, UK.

Twenty-six women motoring journalists from around the world were jurors for this year's award.

WWCOTY, which started eight years ago, has grown strong over the years to become one of the most coveted awards in the automotive industry. The award was accepted by Dr Ralph Speth, the CEO of Jaguar Land Rover.

Eleven out of twenty-six jurors being present at the ceremony meant it was the first time so many women motoring journalists were gathered at the same time to decide the winner.

The winner, the Jaguar F-Pace was picked after a rigorous process, while each juror sent her decision of the eligible vehicle. The criteria had to be so that the particular vehicle chosen had to be sold in 10 countries across the globe.

Once the list of vehicles was finalised, the voting process went through a series of rounds until the F-Pace was picked as the winner. Also, the journalists who were present at the ceremony got a peek into JLR's future, which ‘does look bright', according to Fiona Pargeter, head of global PR communications.
