Isuzu MU-X Interior Spied — Here's What We Can Expect In India
The interior of the Isuzu MU-X has been photographed for the first time and gives us a glimpse of what India can expect.
Isuzu has always had the name in the Indian market for making some incredible engines. Of late, the manufacturer has decided to build and sell cars in India, and the V-Cross being one of them, has captured the interest of off-road enthusiasts in the country.
The next launch from the Japanese manufacturer will be the MU-X, a premium SUV. The vehicle has been spotted testing already, and now, the interior of the Isuzu MU-X has been photographed.
The interior of the MU-X looks similar to the V-Cross, apart from sporting an automatic shifter. The shifter too, looks exactly like the one on the V-Cross. Seen just behind the shifter is the knob that transfers power to all four wheels, in other words, the 4WD selector.
Other bits too, such as the infotainment system, aircon vents, climate control, dash, and the switchgear (indicator stock and wiper switches), look similar to the ones found on the V-Cross.
Coming to the engine, the MU-X gets a 1.99-litre, 155bhp engine and a 3.0-litre, 177bhp engine for the international markets, while it is still unclear as to which of the two will make it to India. One fact is for sure - one of the Indian variants will get an automatic gearbox and the four-wheel-drive option.
Speaking of the vehicle's off-roading capabilities, the V-Cross is impressive, as it was tested in some of the toughest conditions, and the MU-X will be nothing short.
When launched, the MU-X will compete against the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Ford Endeavour, and the Toyota Fortuner in India.
Until Isuzu launches the MU-X in India, do take a look at the V-Cross' extensive photo gallery below, which would give you a rough idea about what can be expected from the MU-X.
