India-Spec Jeep Compass Spied; Interior Revealed
The India-spec Jeep Compass has been spied on the Indian roads, and this time the interior of the SUV has been revealed.
Jeep India is all geared up for another launch this year. The 2017 Compass is all set to hit the Indian roads and the SUV has been spied again on the Indian roads.

This time around the Compass was spotted up close and with lesser camouflage. The spy shots have been uploaded on a Facebook page and one of the pictures also reveals the interior of the SUV.

The interior of the test mule SUV features a black-grey dual-tone dashboard, air-con vents with silver enclosure, black centre console, infotainment display, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and twin-pod instrument cluster.

There were three test mule SUVs and one of the Compass was spotted with least amount of camouflage and revealed the white colour body and simple black wheels.

The front fascia of the Jeep Compass features wide grille and horizontal headlamps with projector lights. The front bumper is beefy and houses trapezoidal enclosures with fog lamps and daytime running lights on either side.

The side profile of the Jeep Compass is identical to the design language of the Grand Cherokee. The SUV gets flared wheel arches, underbody cladding and roof rails.

The rear of the SUV sports horizontal LED tail lamps, roof mounted spoiler, cladded rear bumper with skid plate and chrome-tipped twin exhaust. The SUV is expected to be powered by 2-litre petrol and diesel engine.

The 2017 Jeep Compass is expected to be launched in the Indian market by mid-2017. When launched in India, the SUV will compete against its segment rivals such as Hyundai Tucson and Honda CR-V.
Jeep India also offers its bigger SUV, the Grand Cherokee in the Indian market. Check out the extensive photos of the SUV by clicking the photo gallery below.
