Indian automaker Mahindra has unveiled the new Goa pick-up truck in Automobile Barcelona, Spain. The 2018 model gets completely overhauled design compared to the current model.
The Mahindra Goa looks sharper and aggressive and will go on sale in Europe in 2018. Mahindra is likely to launch the new 2018 model in India in a few months.
The front end of the new pickup truck features redesigned grille and LED projector headlamps which are in line with the new Scorpio SUV. The vertical grille slats are garnished with chrome.
The front and the rear bumper has been revamped. The turn indicators and side air vents also get new design. The bonnet is also redesigned and sculpted compared to the current model. A skid plate is installed to enhance the appeal of the pickup truck.
The interior of the Mahindra Goa is updated to give it a more upmarket feel. The interior features multi-function steering wheel, 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and rear AC vents.
Mahindra has not revealed the technical aspects of the Goa. But the India-spec model is likely to draw power from a 2.2-litre mHawk oil burner producing 120bhp and 290Nm of torque. The power will be sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.
