Hyundai Launches The Tucson Sport With More Power — Is India On The Cards?
Hyundai Tucson Sport launched in South Africa and here the details, along with its Indian launch.
Hyundai has launched the sportier version of the Tucson, called the Tucson Sport in South Africa, which features an aggressive body kit and a tweaked engine.
The Hyundai Tucson recently received a major facelift globally, and the South Korean carmaker has been selling the SUV in South Africa for 13 months now.

The exterior speaks of performance. The Tucson features aggressively styled bumpers, front and side skirts, 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in low-profile tyres, and a louder exhaust compared to the stock vehicle.

Contributing performance is a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 201bhp and 295Nm of torque. That's almost 27bhp and 30Nm of torque more than the regular version of the Tucson.

Power is delivered to the front wheels with the help of a 6-speed manual gearbox since Hyundai has skipped the four-wheel-drive system with the Tucson Sport.

Automatic climate control, electrically adjustable seats, an 8-inch infotainment system with navigation, reverse camera, cruise control, rain sensors, driver, passenger, side, and curtain airbags; ABS with EBD are some of the standard features on the Tucson Sport.

The Hyundai Tucson Sport is priced approximately at Rs 24.93 lakh in South Africa, and regarding the vehicle's availability in India, Hyundai has not disclosed any news.
