Hyundai Reveals A Mysterious Coupe In A Promo Video
Is Hyundai developing a new coupe under its luxury brand Genesis?
Hyundai has released a promotional video showcasing the brand, and while it's not especially exciting for automotive enthusiasts, there is one thing that sure catches our eye.
When watched closely, and some have discovered an unusual clay model in the short clip in the promo video. Apparently, the Korean carmaker does not reveal what that vehicle is, or what is its purpose, but this is not a leak.
A first assumption would be that it's an heir to the Hyundai Genesis Coupe, which would be sold under Hyundai's new luxury brand, Genesis.
Acknowledging that the company is trying to divide the two brands and no other Genesis cars appear in the video; however, the car could be something different.
Hyundai recently launched a new Elantra to the market, and it could be looking to build a coupe variant. It's been a while since the Elantra coupe has been on the market, and with the Genesis Coupe out of the product lineup, Hyundai could use a sporty two-door offering.
As of now, it's only speculation, but we hope Hyundai adds a sports coupe in its portfolio.
