Hyundai Motorsport Celebrates Sixth WRC Victory In Rally Poland
Hyundai Motorsport has recorded its third victory of the 2017 FIA World Rally Championship.
Hyundai Motorsport has recorded its third victory of the 2017 FIA World Rally Championship. Thierry Neuville and Hayden Paddon secured a 1-2 finish in Rally Poland.
Hyundai driver Dani Sordo finished in the fourth position to round off the perfect weekend for the South Korean car maker. Hyundai won 12 out of 22 special stages, the highest number of stage win in a single event for Hyundai.

M-Sport driver Ott Tanak and Thierry Neuville were locked in an intense battle at the beginning of the final day of the rally. But Tanak made a mistake and crashed. Neuville unaware about Tanak's issue, pushed hard to gain a healthy lead.
From then on, Neuville completed the final two stages to take the rally victory. Championship leader Sebastien Ogier finished in the final podium position. With the Poland win, Neuville is just 11 points behind Ogier in the driver's championship.

The Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC has shown impressive pace in the 2017 WRC season. With three wins in 2017, Hyundai Motorsport has set its target towards the manufacturer's title. It will be interesting to see how Ogier fights back in the driver's championship.
