Hyundai Kona Compact SUV Teased — Hyundai Playing The ‘Tease Game’?

Due to hit the market in the coming months, the Hyundai Kona will be placed below the Tucson and the Santa Fe. As the image reveals, the Kona will sport the new ‘cascading grille' seen on the new Elantra, Xcent, and the Verna.

The teaser image also shows aggressive creases on the bonnet to give the Kona a sporty character and the daytime running lights sit above the LED headlamps. Hyundai describes the vehicle as: "The bold front and rear are emphasised by the car's wide stance and its voluminous, aggressive body styling."

Spy shots by Paultan reveal the Kona's curvaceous side profile, but the camo on the vehicle hides away the character lines and the aggressive styling of the vehicle. The Kona is likely to be built on the same platform as the Creta.
