Hyundai India Achieves Another Significant Milestone
Hyundai India has rolled out its five millionth car in the country.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), the country's second largest car manufacturer and the number one car exporter since its inception has achieved another incredible feat.
Hyundai India has achieved five millionth car milestone with the rollout of its best performing sedan, the next-gen Verna.

Hyundai rolled out its one millionth car, the Santro in 2007 in just eight years and seven months after beginning production in 1998. The automaker continued the trend of setting benchmarks in the automobile industry with its three million mark in less than two years and eight months in July 2013.

It was followed by the next fastest four million mark in only two years and four months in November 2015. Hyundai has been aggressive in the Indian market and has rapidly expanded the product portfolio by entering new segments.

Hyundai India has also strengthened its sales and service network with over 2,200 sales and service points including 422 rural outlets. The key models which contributed to Hyundai's success in the past two decades are Santro, Eon, Verna, Creta, i10 Grand, i20, Xcent, Tucson and Elantra.

Hyundai has been an active player in the hatchback and sedan segment in India. With its vast range of product portfolio, the automaker has achieved five millionth car milestone in such as short period. We expect Hyundai to introduce more products in India in 2018.
