Hyundai i30 N Teased Ahead Of Global Debut

South Korean carmaker Hyundai is all set to unveil its first performance hot hatch; the i30 N. Ahead of that the automaker has released the teaser video of the car.
The Hyundai i30 N will be globally unveiled on July 13, 2017. The i30 N has been tested extensively in Nurburgring, British roads and on ice in Sweden by WRC driver Thierry Neuville.

The first performance hatch from the N brand is likely to draw power from a 2-litre engine. The engine will be available in two states of tune, 246bhp and 271bhp. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and a dual-clutch transmission might be offered as an option.
The i30 N will feature upgraded chassis with beefier suspension setup with adjustable dampers and a limited-slip differential. The hatchback also gets bigger brakes and wheels.

The overall design of the i30 N is aggressive. The bodywork of the car features new bumpers, larger air intakes and rear-wing diffuser. Hyundai has benefitted from its WRC campaign in the development of the i30 N.
