Honda Jazz Facelift Revealed Ahead Of Launch
The Honda Jazz facelift for global markets gets styling changes and more safety tech.
Honda has revealed the Jazz facelift in Japan ahead of its global launch in June 2017. The new Honda Jazz received host of styling updates and safety features.

Up front, the Honda Jazz facelift resembles the new City sedan which was recently launched in India. The headlamps, front grille and the bumper, have been redesigned with the thick gloss strip flanked by the LED headlights.

The fog lamp housing and the front air intakes look chiselled compared to the previous model. As for the side profile, the Honda Jazz facelift gets new designed alloy wheels along with small sill extensions.

With the partially revealed image of the rear profile, the Honda Jazz facelift receives LED inserts in the taillights. We expect a revised rear bumper to compliment the front profile's design language.

Inside the cabin, the Honda Jazz facelift's dashboard remains the same as the outgoing model along with dual-tone upholstery.

The new Honda Jazz facelift boasts of new safety features such as pedestrian collision mitigation, collision mitigation braking, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist function. As for the India-bound model, not sure if the model will receive these safety features.

The Japan-spec Honda Jazz facelift will be available with 1.3- and 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engines, as well as a hybrid drivetrain.

The current Jazz model in India completed its second year in India. Hence a facelifted Honda Jazz could be still some time away.

When it does come to India, the new Jazz could sport with similar styling updates along with extra equipment and could be equipped with the same infotainment system seen in the new City. The powertrains will continue to be the same as the current Jazz model: 1.5-lite diesel and the 1.2-litre petrol units.
