Honda To Export WR-V From India
Honda has recently launched the WR-V in the Indian market and now the company has stated that the model will be exported to Brazil.
Japanese car maker Honda has been exporting some of its models to the overseas market, and in the latest development, the company will introduce the WR-V to the Brazilian market.
Honda Cars India, Senior VP, Jnaneswar Sen revealed that the WR-V would be exported to Brazil and he also mentioned that the company would bring its premium sedan Civic later this year to the Indian market.
Sen said, "Already, we are exporting few of our existing models to neighbouring countries. This product (WR-V) may be exported to Brazil."
On asked about the launch of other models in India, Sen stated that the company would introduce its premium sedan, the Civic which was suspended from production.
Speaking about the launch of upgraded City last month, Sen told that the new car received good response from the customers and garnered 15,000 bookings. On the other hand, WR-V has also received 3,000 bookings.
Speaking about Honda's expansion plans, Sen stated that the company would increase its dealership network from 336 outlets to 370 units with more focus on Tier II and Tier III cities in 2017-18.
