Honda City Facelift India Launch Date Revealed
The Honda City facelift will be powered by the existing 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines.
The Indian arm of the Japanese car manufacturer Honda is all set to launch the facelifted City sedan in the Indian market. The refreshed sedan will be launched in India on February 14, 2017.
The Honda City has been a best-selling car in its segment. But in recent times the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has outpaced the City in the Indian market. The sedan will be back in a refreshed avatar to dominate its segment in the country.
The front fascia of the facelifted City is inspired by the Civic, it features a chrome band running across the grille, slightly tweakedheadlamps which houses the daytime running lights and revamped front bumper.
The rear of the new City features a boot spoiler and redesigned tail lamps. The interior of the car sports a new infotainment system. The car will also come with 6 airbags as a standard fitment.
The Honda City facelift will be powered by the existing 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Although the suspension has been revised which has a slightly higher ground clearance.
With the new City, the ‘City ZX' badge will be offered which was last seen on the second-gen City. Once launched in India the facelifted sedan will take on its segment rivals such as Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and yet to be launched next-gen Hyundai Verna.
