Honda Cars India will hike prices for all models owing to increase in input and freight charges. This will be the second hike in 2017.
Honda Cars India will hike prices for all its models by Rs 10,000, effective first week of April. The hike will affect all models apart from the recently launched WR-V.

Honda has said the reason for the price hike is due to increase in freight and input cost. The hike in prices will be the second time in 2017 for Honda Cars India, after increasing prices at the beginning of the year.

Commenting on the price hike, Jnaneswar Sen, the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing says, "Due to the increase in freight charges and input costs, we are forced to consider increasing the car prices for most of our models. The increased prices will be effective from the first week of April 2017."

At the beginning of 2017, Honda Cars India increased prices across its range by 3 percent, owing to input costs and fluctuating exchange rates.
