Ford Named Most Ethical Company In The World
ETHISPHERE Institute has named Ford in its list of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for the eighth year in a row, acknowledging its continuous involvement in environmental sustainability.
Ford Motor Company has been named one of the World's Most Ethical Companies for the eighth straight year - the longest for any auto manufacturer.

The Ehtisphere Institute honours Ford in categories such as monitoring human rights and safe working conditions. The list also appreciates the motor company for providing training and evaluations to make sure suppliers meet both legal requirements and Ford standards.

Ford is decreasing the environmental footprint of its supply chain with an enhanced Partnership for A Cleaner Environment (PACE) program that has expanded to more than 40 suppliers in 40 countries.

Ethisphere's list of the World's Most Ethical Companies recognises and honours companies that understand they have a part in society to lead or drive positive change.
These companies recognise their employees, investors, customers and other key stakeholders when taking action, while their values and culture align with the choices they make every day.

"Strong ethics and corporate citizenship are the foundation of our business philosophy, which demonstrates to our customers what we stand for as a company," said Bill Ford, Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman. "This honour is a reflection of Ford's core values, and it shows that our employees are continuing to make the right decisions every day for all of our stakeholders."

Ford practices include reducing compressed air usage in manufacturing operations, optimising cooling tower operation and eliminating single-pass cooling systems. Along with larger scale projects, even the simplest leading methods, such as substituting incandescent light bulbs with LED bulbs, also will help save valuable resources.
