Ford Focus RS Limited Edition Revealed — Adds LSD And Goes Red
Ford has revealed a limited edition, fan-inspired version of the Focus RS hot hatchback.
American carmaker Ford has revealed the Focus RS Limited Edition which it claims is now, even more fun to drive thanks to some fan-inspired updates.
The new Ford Focus will be produced in limited numbers and is the send-off for the current generation RS. 1,000 units will be heading to the United States with another 500 pencilled in for Canada.

The Ford Focus RS Limited Edition brings with it a few cosmetic changes including the addition of a new Race Red paint job. Black mirror caps, a black spoiler, black roof and 19-inch forged black wheels are fitted as standard. Also, the door handles, handbrake lever and turbo boost gauge surround are wrapped in carbon fibre.

The RS2 package which is available as an optional extra with the regular Focus RS is now fitted as standard bringing with it heated mirrors, a heated steering wheel, voice-activated navigation and heated power Recaro seats as standard.

However, the biggest change is the addition of a Quaife mechanical limited-slip differential on the front axle which will allow the hot-hatch to take corners with more ease.

The 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder Ecoboost engine remains unchanged cranking out 345bhp and 475Nm of torque which is sent to the front wheels by a 6-speed manual gearbox. Drift Mode is also still a thing.
