Ford EcoSport Facelift Bookings To Start On Amazon — But There's A Catch

Ford EcoSport facelift buyers will be treated to a dedicated page on the all-new EcoSport which will guide the customers on fun, style, and technology differentiators with variants and colour details.

The customer will be able to book any variant or colour of their choice listed on Amazon with Rs. 10,000 as the booking amount paid through payment options available on Amazon.

The new Ford EcoSport facelift comes with a new 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine from Ford's Dragon series, that is smaller, lighter, stronger and more efficient than the outgoing model. The previously offered 1.5-litre diesel engine will continue to be offered as well on the new EcoSport.

Apart from the new petrol engine, the Ford EcoSport facelift gets a host of cosmetic changes to the exteriors and interiors. The facelifted EcoSport's styling, especially the front grille, follows the current design language of the American carmaker.

The compact SUV also features projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, new 17-inch alloy wheels and new exterior colour options like blue and red. The top-spec Titanium S variant receives blacked-out headlamp bezels, fog lamp bezels, alloy wheels and the grille.

Inside the cabin, the new EcoSport is offered with a new free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, which comes with Ford's new Sync 3 support system and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The interiors of the EcoSport also sports new seat upholstery, audio controls mounted on the three-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control and dual USB ports.

On safety aspect, Ford is offering the EcoSport facelift with dual airbags and ABS with EBD as standard fitment, while the top-spec trim will get side and curtain airbags along with Isofix child seat mounts at the rear.

We expect the Ford EcoSport facelift pricing to be in the range of Rs 7 lakh to Rs 9.5 lakh depending on the variant. With rivals like Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon to compete with, it is to be seen of the Ford EcoSport facelift will reclaim its leadership in the segment.
