Fisker EMotion Design Revealed Ahead Of Global Debut
Henrik Fisker's new car, the Fisker EMotion has been revealed in its production-spec form ahead of its debut.
The design of the upcoming Fisker EMotion has been revealed ahead of its unveiling in August by the car's designer and company owner Henrik Fisker.
The EMotion which will make its official debut on August 17, marks the return of Fisker Inc to the automotive world almost four years after the company, then named, Fisker Automotive filed for bankruptcy.
Henrik Fisker revealed a few images of the EMotion as he teased the four-door Tesla Model S rival which will feature class leading range of over 400 miles (643 kilometres) on a single charge of its battery pack.
The range can be extended by another 100 miles (161 kilometres) in nine minutes through the use of the vehicle's UltraCharger technology.
The images revealed over the weekend also show off the new front end of the EMotion which features a fake grille which plays host to the car's LIDAR system which will help the EV drive itself. The headlights of the car are almost split down the middle by the turn indicators which Fisker claim look like the eyes of a panther.
The wing mirrors also feature cameras while at the rear the sculpted rear haunches show off the aero tweaks found on the EV along with a boot lip spoiler.
Fisker will continue to reveal more details about the EMotion as the month of June passes by before it opens pre-orders on the last day of the month.
