First Official Image Of The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Surfaces
After multiple teaser images, here is the first official image of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.
After what feels like a billion tiny teasers, a single picture of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has surfaced online ahead of its debut at the 2017 New York Auto Show.

The image, claimed to be original, ends an extensive teaser campaign revealing what could be one of the fastest, most powerful and most extreme cars in American muscle car history.

From previous teasers, we know that the Demon will also feature a group of motorsports technology - incorporating the "Air Grabber" - declared to be largest cold air intake ever installed in a production car.

More details will come soon, but this single picture reveals the wider wheel arches and that large hood scoop.

With the numerous teasers, we know the supercharged 6.2-litre Hellcat V8 will power the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, also, expect an increase in power to 755bhp, and the sole gearbox will be automatic.

Remember, the specs are as close to a street legal drag race car you'll ever find. The weight has been reduced approximately by 200 pounds (91kg) compared to the standard Challenger Hellcat.

The Demon's engine, gearbox, launch control, and other vital systems have been recalibrated. The muscle car can even switch to high octane race fuel on demand.

Complete details are expected to arrive shortly and stay tuned to DriveSpark for all the details of the Demon.
