Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Could Sport Insane Power Output
The upcoming Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is all set to launch later tonight and the latest rumours claim it will sport an insane amount of horsepower under the hood
The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is all set to debut tonight on the eve of the 2017 New York Auto Show.

Now, hours before the Demonic Dodge hits the streets, Instagram account 'thedarkestride' has listed three power modes for the craziest ever Challenger taking it way past the power output of the Hellcat.

thedarkestride claims that the new Demon sports three power modes - 757hp, 815hp and an eye-popping 1,023hp. To unlock the maximum power level, owners will have to shell out $3,000 for the optional Performance Control Module, fuel up with 100-octane race fuel and initiate drag mode.

The Instagram user doesn't give a source for the new power levels and also states that Dodge has beefed up the car's internals and driveshaft significantly. He also claims that Demon comes with Nitto drag radials rated for 168mph (270km/h).

Dodge have not released any performance figures for the Challenger SRT Demon till now. Instead, the company has been teasing its new bonkers Challenger for the past 13 weeks. Official performance figures and more details will be revealed when the car is finally revealed to the public.
