Carmakers constantly battle to outdo competitors, and the battle is especially intense when it comes to mass selling products. Two vehicles that have locked horns in this segment are the Datsun redi-GO and the Maruti Suzuki Alto.
In Datsun's latest commercial, the Japanese carmaker is directly targeting the Alto, which is one of the best selling cars in India, claiming the design is outdated and old, while Datsun features new-age design. The focus is to attract younger buyers and move on.
The video commercial is being played at the Champions Trophy being played in England, in which Nissan is the global sponsor. The video also highlights some of Datsun redi-GO's performance, ground clearance, and the price.
DriveSpark Thinks!
The Video is a great move to help people think out of the box when it comes to choosing a car, and for the automobile industry too, as long as carmakers take it as a healthy competition.
