Brabus G500 4x4² Rolls Over After Colliding With Toyota Prius
An accident in london involving a Toyota Prius and a Mercedes-Benz Brabus G500 4x4² ended with the Brabus tuned Mercedes-Benz on its side.
An accident which took place on saturday left an upmarket bar & restaurant in London embarrassed and SUV enthusiasts scratching their heads. A Mercedes-Benz Brabus G500 4x4² rolled over after a Toyota Prius crashed into its side.
While we aren't sure of the speeds the Prius was doing, the images show us what it has done to the mammoth of an SUV.
The Brabus G500 4x4² belonged to the Buddha bar in London and was used for promotional activities and also to ferry guests. While out on Saturday, the Brabus jumped a red light and got t-boned by an Uber Toyota Prius.
Social media accounts of people at the site threw light on the incident. A video of the G500 4x4² coming to a stop after rolling was put up on Instagram by a user, with a caption that read, ‘We just witnessed this 4x4² crash into a prius and overturn. Please take care when behind the wheel of any car. ALL DRIVERS/PASSENGERS OKAY'.
All the people involved in the accident were indeed okay and there were no injuries reported. All the airbags in both the cars deployed and helped in preventing injuries.
The surprising bit is not just how the Prius survived a crash with this monster of an SUV but how it managed to roll it over.
The Brabus G500 4x4² is much bigger and a lot more heavier than the Toyota Prius. What makes it more interesting is the fact that the kind of people who support hybrids like the Prius are the ones who hate massive, fuel-guzzling SUVs like the G500 4x4².
Those who love these big bulky SUVs with big engines generally trash talk about hybrids, especially about the Prius. Now though, after this incident, the Prius would have surely gained some respect amongst the dinosaur lovers. Or would it?
The Prius surely deserves some respect, as a video shows it being driven on its own power after the accident. The G500 though had to be towed away by a BMW 5-series Touring station-wagon used by the London police.
