BMW X5 ‘Special Edition’ & X6 ‘M Sport Edition’ Revealed
BMW has revealed a pair of special edition packages for its X5 & X6 SUVs which add more equipment and features to both cars.
German luxury carmaker BMW has revealed a pair of special edition packages for its X5 & X6 SUVs which add more equipment and features to both cars. The BMW X5 Special Edition & X6 M Sport Edition will go on sale in Europe in December.
The BMW X5 Special Edition takes the current M Sport package and adds Dakota leather seat upholstery to the car while the front seats are now heated. The leather and anthracite trim & upholstery are now available in Anthracite/Black colour options.

Owners can also specify Merino leather upholstery from BMW's Individual range in five different colours and the package also adds sun protection glass and a Multifunction Instrument Display as standard. The new X5 Special Edition package can be specified in all versions of the X5 except for the M50d variant.
The X6 is now available with the M Sport Edition package which gets an exclusive Long Beach Blue metallic paint job, though owners can also also opt for either Carbon Black and Mineral White exteriors as well.
The X6 M Sport Edition also gets an exclusive set of 20-inch M light-alloy wheels with a 21-inch set available as an option. The interior features carbon-fibre trim and BMW has loaded the X6 M Sport Edition with all the gadgets and features found in the regular M Sport trim. Like in the X5, the special X6 M Sport Edition is available with all models except for M50d variant.

The two special edition packages from the X5 and X6 add more equipment as standard while also adding a host of new features including exclusive paint jobs and wheels in the case of the X6 M Sport Edition. The packages are a must buy for any prospective BMW X5 and X6 owner, who craves a bit of excluisivity.
