BMW Reveals Limited Run M240i M Performance Edition
BMW has taken the wraps off the limited run M240i M Performance Edition. Just 750 units will be made.
BMW has revealed the M240i M Performance Edition, a limited edition version of the M240i that brings in a host of M Performance cosmetic upgrades.
The new M240i M Performance Edition will be limited to just 750 units and is available in only one colour option: Alpine White. The M Performance Edition sports a revised front apron with new air guides, a new front splitter, a revised front bumper and a black painted Kidney grille.
The M240i M Performance Edition sits on new dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels which are shod with 225/35 R19 front and 255/30 R19 rear tyres. Also new are the deep black side skirts along with carbon fibre bits like the rear spoiler, tail pipe finishers, and wing mirrors. The rear diffuser is partially painted white as well.
Inside, the only major change in the new BMW M240i M Performance Edition is that the steering wheel sports a red centre band on top.
Mechanically the M240i M Performance Edition remains unchanged with the turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six engine that cranks out 335bhp and 500Nm of torque.
The engine is paired to either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to either the rear wheels or all four wheels depending on whether the optional xDrive system is included.
0-100km/h is done in just 4.4 seconds in the fastest version and the top speed is 250km/h.
