World's Most Admired Car Manufacturer Revealed — The Answer Isn't Surprising At All

In 2017, BMW is the most admired car manufacturer in the world, though it ranked low as compared to last years rank.

BMW is a luxury vehicle, motorcycle, and engine manufacturing company which was founded back in 1916. The German auto giant is also considered as one of the best-selling luxury automakers in the world.

The company has the headquartered in Munich, Bavaria. BMW has a huge portfolio and produces cars under the BMW Motorsport division and motorcycles under BMW Motorrad.

On the other hand, it also has an electric vehicle division. The plug-in electric cars come under the BMW iPerformance. Recently, Fortune revealed the list of the ‘World's Most Admired Companies' for 2017; and guess what? BMW acquired a place in the list of - the most admired automotive company.

BMW's ranking was 21, which made it stand ahead of the next car company on the list at 34th place, Toyota. Fortune collaborated with Korn Ferry Hay Group to do the survey of corporate reputations.

Fortune's ‘World's Most Admired Companies' chart reveals votes of some 3800 executives, analysts, directors, and experts, with the top 50 ranked on an annual basis.

According to the votes, both BMW and Toyota were ranked lower as compared to last years results. BMW this year ranked 21st and 18th last year. On the other hand, Toyota ranked 34th this time and 28th last year.

Last but not the least, since its inception, BMW has been manufacturing some amazing products that have created a reputed brand image for the company. So, don't be astonished if the German car maker surprises us with some more next level products in the near future.
