BMW India To Hike Price Across Range — To Be Effective Sooner Than You Thought
BMW’s portfolio in India starts from 1 Series hatchback and going up to flagship 7 Series luxury sedan.
BMW Group India has announced a 2 percent price hike across the complete range with effect from the new financial year starting April 1. The BMW Group includes - BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce, but the price hike is only for the first two brands.

Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India, said, "BMW India has been in the forefront of providing sheer driving pleasure to the Indian customers by introducing innovative products, building world-class dealerships and offering state-of-the-art services ahead of its time.

"In today's economic conditions, to maintain our exceptional brand positioning and continue offering a distinct value proposition to our premium clientele, we have decided to marginally revise the prices of the BMW and MINI product portfolio."

BMW's portfolio in India starts from 1 Series hatchback and going up to flagship 7 Series luxury sedan. The SUV range of the German giant in India includes X1, X3, X5 and X6 models. The models which are selling is huge number are locally assembled at BMW's Chennai facility.

M and i range models are imported as Completely Built Units (CBUs). BMW has 41 dealerships across India and has recently opened performance centres for its powerful beasts. The company is also readying the new generation 5 Series in the country.
