BMW Hints More CS-Badged Models Across The M Range
Interested in a BMW M2 CS-Badged model?
BMW has indicated that more of its models will get CS-badged variants, the company revealed soon after the M4 CS premièred at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show.

Even though there was previous information which hinted that an M2 CS is in the works, BMW has never actually confirmed the model.

However, through an interview with CarBuzz, BMW M's marketing chief Peter Quintas suggested that the four-tier line-up of the M4 (M4, M4 Competition, M4 CS and M4 GTS) could be renewed.

"Customers want a variety of different M models. The BMW M4 is an attractive proposition price wise, the Competition appeals to buyers wanting a bit more power and aggression, and the GTS is geared towards a niche track day enthusiasts.

"The M4 CS slots in perfectly above the Competition and anyone who missed out on the GTS will want this car," Quintas said.

Having confirmed this four-tier M4 range, BMW plans to utilise the same structure with other members of the M product lineup.

The M2 above and new M5 set to be revealed later this year would be our chances for the next models to receive Competition, CS, and GTS variants.
