GST Effect: BMW 3 Series To Get A Price Cut
BMW is offering the 3 Series sedan with a massive discount, owing to GST, which will come into effect soon.
The upcoming GST tax structure is helping luxury car buyers as vehicles are getting cheaper. Mercedes had already announced a reduction in price, and now, BMW has announced a price cut.
BMW is likely to offer the 3 Series sedan with a discount of almost Rs 45,000, owing to the benefit of GST.
Under the new tax structure, customers would end up paying 43 percent, which is around 12 percent lower compared to the current scenario.
BMW India has announced that the company will pass on the benefit and support the customers by offering a price cut of up to 12 percent on select models. Offers will be valid for a limited period, or till stocks last.
In India, BMW manufactures the 1 Series hatchback; 3 Series, 5 Series, and 7 Series luxury sedans, and SUVs such as the X1, X3, and X5, along with the 3 Series GT.
Other models sold in India such as the BMW i8, 6 Series Gran Coupe, M6 Gran Coupe, M4 Gran Coupe, X6, X5 M and X6 M, M3, M5, and Z4 are brought in as Completely Built Units or CBUs.
